This is PIM’s first update, so it’s worth starting with why it exists.
Our own personal data was scattered — a todo app here, a calendar there, a journal we kept meaning to open, and a growing pile of AI chat conversations that forgot everything the moment the tab closed. None of those tools talked to each other, and none of them ran anywhere we actually controlled.
PIM puts journal, todo, work log, calendar, and mail in one place, with a private AI assistant — running through Ollama — that stays entirely on your own machine. Nothing you write has to leave your computer to get a useful answer.
It’s still early. PIM currently runs on Linux, and it’s out with a small group of friends, family, and developers who are stress-testing it and telling us what’s broken. macOS and Windows support are next, once that feedback settles.
If you want to follow along or try it yourself, see Get PIM. More soon.
